Dear Arabic Enthusiast,

On March 10, 2012, I launched my new 45 page report. It
got downloaded over 10,000 times in the span of a single
week.

Click this link to get your free 45 page Arabic Acceleration report

Here’s what some people are saying about it:

“This document is a must-read for anyone interested in
the Arabic language because it introduces a surefire
methodology to learning Arabic that will, I believe, become
the new standard by which learning is measured…”
- Jessica

“Excellent! concise, focused and most of all
understandable…” – albaari

“I’ve read your document… with a level of skepticism in
mind, and I must say it blew me away…” – Br. Esa

“…I have suggested this book to everybody around me.”
- mducklings

As you’re now a subscriber on our main mailing list, all you
need to do right click and save the file to your computer:

Click this link to get your free 45 page Arabic Acceleration report

warmest salams,

Yusuf

P.S. As the report is very new, the name has not been finalized.
That’s why you’ll you see a big question mark on the title page. We
actually held a contest in late March and 350 people submitted over
1,250 names for the report and left behind a ton of feedback.
Once we’ve incorporated that feedback into the report and
created a cover page, we’ll email you an updated version.

In order to participate, you need to be logged in with an actual Paltalk account. Unfortunately, international students residing in Middle Eastern and certain Asian countries are required to have an upgraded paltalk account in order to access the services. I’ve explained this here.

For the first week of classes, I would suggest just listening to the lectures and then accessing the recordings when they are made available in the video portal.

This Offer EXPIRES at MIDINIGHT Eastern on Monday, January 2

Convert to Premium (at a Discount) and get all of the Elements of My Current Offer at No Extra Charge

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

If you haven’t already seen my video I made live on Wednesday afternoon at 2.00 PM eastern, you can check it out here:

CLICK HERE to watch the 13 minute presentation in a separate window

The offer was crafted primarily for non-students but there are at least 3 elements in it that will be of interest to you. They are:

1. Life-time access to my 50 hours of core training: As things stand currently, if you choose to not renew your self-paced subscription, you will loose access to the material after 6 months or 1 year or whenever your expiry is. (This is how it’s always been). In the case of expiry, your forum account would be placed in the “Expired Users” usergroup and we’d run reactivation campaigns in order to try and get you back. That is, you would cease to be a student. What life-time access means is that your access to the material would be forever.. It would never be taken away from you.

2. Free Upgrade to Next Iteration of Core Content: From time to time, I reproduce the material and in the past, every time I’ve done this, it’s enhanced the benefit by 200%.

3. The Premium Alphabet Course which is around 11 hours of training created by Sidi Mohtanick Jamil. This course has been selling on our website every day for $297. It is my honest assessment that Sidi Mohtanick is the best teacher alive for these topics. He spent 6 grueling months putting the course together. I had sister DesertSand and some other second year students go through it. They all say, they received great value. It’s a very comprehensive course and not just for extreme beginners. And I’ve purchased the rights of the entire course from him by giving him a considerable 5 figure amount.

All three of the above are bundled into the current promotion (explained in the video) and the price point is $797 or 3 installments of $297

Here’s How Self-Paced Students Can Get All of the Above at Zero Cost

Regardless of your forum account expiry, at some point you will need to resubmit tuition in order to convert to premium or progress to the advanced levels of year 2. As you know, the Hidayah an-Nahw book is always covered live and I don’t provide videos for that book, as the benefit to students is in the preparation and reading in front of the instructor. That’s how true proficiency is built. Granted, that you can study with the recordings of the Hidayah an-Nahw book as a self-paced student, but ultimately, you’d want to cover the book live. Some of our second year students actually do the book multiple times. I’ve taught it 19 times and even I learn something new each time.

What I am doing is extending the 3 elements mentioned above to you and allowing you to convert to premium and prepay for the live classes as part of a single deal.

If you move forward with the life-time deal by submitting the $797, I will look into how many months you have left on your self-paced account at the forum, for every 2 months self-paced, you’ll get a credit of one month premium PLUS I’ll give you 6 months beyond that.

So for instance, if you’ve been with us for 6 months and have 6 months remaining on your account, the total credit to you would be 9 months.

9 months premium is a value of exactly $1,195.50, based on $797 per every 6 months.

Furthermore, you may pause and restart your live sessions at any time and use these credits as you deem fit.

So if the above made sense to you, please click the link below to proceed directly to the pre-order page (skip the video):

Click HERE to go directly to the Pre-order page and select your payment option

The page does not list what I just explained as the page is primarily for new students.. but once done, simply reply to the email that brought you to this page, and I’ll extend your account manually.

If you plan on using these credits at some future time, just save the email that brought you to this page and let me know when you’d like to go live. These credits will never expire.

wassalam,

Yusuf

P.S. One main reason why I’m focusing a lot of energy on this launch is I want to place a “We are full” sign on our main website and not have to worry about replying to pre-registration emails all the time. Event based promotions such as this current one will allow me to focus on teaching during the majority of the year, insha Allah: 2 weeks of effort, followed by several months of rest and focus on teaching is what I’m aiming for.

P.P.S. If you’ve already availed this offer, you too would be entitled to what I described above. Please send an email when you’re ready to go live and we’ll make the account adjustments then.

If you move forward with the life-time deal by submitting the $797, I will extend your forum account by 6 full months at no extra charge.

From the desk of Yusuf Mullan
Thursday, 11:17 A.M.

Dear Seeker of Knowledge,

If you’re reading this page, it means you’re already one of my subscribers and have a decent idea of the approach I take in teaching classical Arabic. Elsewhere on the site you can read very detailed course descriptions and curriculum breakdowns so here I just want to tell you quickly what I have for, what it will do for you and how you can take advantage.

FIRST, Let’s Begin With The Problem You’re Facing. Here’s the problem: if you’re reading this page, chances are you’ve spent a considerable amount of time searching for the right course to help you get to where you need to be. Like a good number of my existing students, you might have taken some university/college level Arabic courses or you’ve purchased numerous text-books and home-study products most of which are collecting dust on the bookshelf.

What you’re finding is that the teachers cannot teach in your preferred style, or that there’s too much memorization and too much disorganization. You find yourself getting burnt out very quickly, or the course is just too slow moving and spends too much time on irrelevant details. If it’s a home-study product, then there’s no proper presentation of the grammar and essential theory…

You End Up Frustrated And Down A Few Thousand Dollars. You Waste A Few Months Of Your Time.

Why does this keep happening? The reason is because no one is teaching how the language actually works. If you think about why you get overwhelmed easily by too much memorization and too much disorganization or why you feel that the topics are not being presented properly or that the details are irrelevant, you’ll quickly notice that these are all symptoms of an underlying problem which is the lack of a central theme and the absence of the big picture up front.

You see, if there’s no big picture given up front, all details will most definitely seem random because you have nothing to connect those details to! You cannot learn in this way if you can’t tell the forest from the trees.

All the courses you’ve attended or books you’ve attempted to self-study from begin with the simple and gradually progress to the more advanced. You’re probably thinking that this is how it should be. I’m here to tell you that that is NOT how Arabic is mastered. It’s definitely not how the scholars have learned through the ages. Arabic is different. The majority of meanings do not even come from the words. They come from the vowels, patterns and grammatical structures that are all part of a system Ibn Khaldun calls the most superior system for conveying meaning on the planet at the heart of which is grammar.

What this means is whole meanings which in other languages would require separate words to convey, in Arabic, are expressed through single vowels and in some cases particular configurations of vowels. These are “non-word meanings” and they make up the overwhelming majority of all meanings.

Until you’re made familiar with this system, you gain no clarity, you attain no traction and you find no momentum. This is why you quickly loose interest and move on to the next set of books.

So here’s my alternative: the alternative is to lead with complex and elaborate discussions up front thus providing that big picture as soon as possible. This is a front-loaded method. It is counter-intuitive. It involves significant risk. Many beginners may get discouraged because it requires considerable effort in the opening few days. However, the amount of effort decreases with every passing week and the pay-off increases exponentially. This is how you will get traction in your studies and build momentum. There is simply no other way.

Meet Your Personal Teacher

Your teacher is Mufti Yusuf Mullan (That’s me). I’m the founder and head instructor of the Shariah Program.

SIDENOTE: I feel uncomfortable reaching all around to pat myself on the back so here’s what one student had to say about me as part of his review he posted at our message board a couple of years ago:

“The instructor himself. Scholars and students attest to his genius. I’ve never met an alim so passionate and so comprehensive in his knowledge of the language: he’s like an encyclcopaedia! Not only that, but he’s actually a good teacher. Most teachers, especially teachers of Islamic subjects, tend to ‘present’ the subject and ‘kindly’ leave it to the student to learn. This results in only the highly motivated learning. 70-80% of the class don’t learn. In contrast, Mufti Yusuf will question you, test you and will demand participation. This may put off or even intimidate some, but I love it! Why? Because it forces me to learn – I’ve no choice; it’s motivating and it shows that the teacher truly wants me to learn“.

This student (who also happens to be a qualified teacher) goes on to say:

“In many large institutions the senior shaykh often designs the syllabus and may give a few live sessions but the majority of the teaching is by junior teachers who aren’t as advanced or as thorough. When you graduate from a level, you get a new teacher – whose style or personality may not be as good as the previous one. The Shariah Program is unique in that we have the priviliege of having Mufti Yusuf – the designer and senior expert – not only teaching every lesson, but taking the time to even lead the mundane memorisation sessions. He has dedicated himself fully to the course so as a student you feel very privileged“.

Here’s How We Do Mind Blowing Amounts in Mere Days: The “Better than Harvard” Advantage

You see, a primary aspect of the teaching methodology I use is a principle called the 80/20 Rule Squared. This is at the heart of the curriculum.

Not all rules and lessons are created equal. In fact, the “80/20 Rule” states that you can expect 20% of your efforts to give you 80% of all the benefits you ultimately achieve.

The Arabic language is no different. It has a very clear core which consists of roughly 20% of all the rules in the 3 sciences of Grammar (nahw), Morphology (sarf) and Rhetoric (balagha).

The rules that belong to this 20% core have the broadest application by far. These are the fundamentals of Arabic that you would expect to encounter in practically every sentence.

But within this 20% core, there is an even DENSER inner-core which we call the “Core-4″. Without getting caught up in math, re-applying the “80/20 Rule” with the 20% core, we get an inner core of no more than 4% of all the total rules in the 3 sciences. This 4% inner core accounts for over half of all benefits!

You’ll Have Covered This Inner-Core In The First 3 Weeks Of Classes!

And it is the ability to properly capitalize on this very concept that allows students in our program to grow at an exponential rate. A sister who studied Arabic at Harvard university and subsequently at our intensive puts it best:

“…..Because of that, in one day of class I learned more than I learned in an entire _year_ of Harvard…. What you need in a class is someone to explain to you how the language WORKS…. In only a few days of the Shariah Program, people were starting to read Arabic fluently … they had already learned what each part of the sentence was, like: this is a past tense verb/this is a noun/ this is a command to a man/ this is an adjective referring to the feminine noun). That does _not_ happen in university Arabic until well after the first full year….”

Yes, properly capitalizing on the “80/20 rule squared” allows my students to learn mind blowing amounts of proper and well-structured Arabic in mere days. This is what makes the Shariah Program unique and its curriculum one of the most sought-after in the Western world.

Setting The Stage in The First 3 Weeks of Classes:

The most dense 4% of all rules are taught in the opening 3 weeks of class! Within the first 3 weeks, you will have already been taught thoroughly how the language works. This is extremely powerful. It is not done from any text book. It is done by carefully isolating the core, and more importantly, suppressing and ignoring what does not belong to the core.

Rest of Semester 1 Reinforces The Core:

Reading from actual Arabic books begins gradually from the 3rd week of class. While reading and translating is taking place, simultaneously, the next most important set of rules is taught. The reading text is leveraged fully to not only build vocabulary, but also introduce grammar and morphology.

Just to give you an idea, here’s a short glimpse of the timeline for your education:

After Week 3: You’ll be reading from Qasas al-Nabiyin (the Stories of the Prophets), an Arabic book for children.

Here’s what this means for you in the words of one student:

“Reading a real Arabic text from week 3 is amazing. I can’t emphasise how beneficial this is. I’ve studied grammar points for years through countless texts, but within a few weeks I had more benefit in the Shariah Program as the grammar comes to life. It is also highly motivating to be able to see yourself able to read an Arabic book”.

By the end Semester 1: You’ll have already mastered the science of Arabic Morphology which accounts for roughly 30% of ALL comprehension. And you’ll have covered the inner and outer core pertaining to Grammar I spoke about just now. You’ll know all of this very well. What this means is you can stop right here and come out with more than what others gain after a decade of self study.

Early in Semester 2: You’ll be reading Arabic texts without any harakat – that’s right, no fatha, kasra, or dhamma training wheels needed for this ride.

By the end Semester 2: You’ll have covered what I consider the best book in the world for grammar: a 132 page classical text called Hidayah an-Nahw. And you’ll have already begun the study of Qur’anic balagha (eloquence).

SIDENOTE: I’ve taught this book 19 times (as of December 2011) and continue to reteach it 3 times each year with hundreds or students. Truth be told, I learn something new myself each time the text is covered in class. I always teach it myself LIVE and never delegate any aspect of its teaching.

What this means for you is you can rest assured that you’ll be studying with someone who is able to do what they do repeatedly (19 times and counting), happily, and successfully which incidentally is the very definition of “strength”. Please see the brief comment below which I got in a private email:

“I am listening to the Hidayah an-Nahw recording of the live session where you are explaining the special mubtada where a sifa occurs as a mubtada. I have listened to this so many times, but every time I listen to it, it gets my full attention. And I can’t stop getting impressed each time when I listen to this – Many a times when I listen to the recordings, I get this feeling, but I don’t share this with you because I may appear to be fawning. Today, I felt a strong desire to share this with you – Masha Allah and JzkAllah for all the intensity and the elegant explanations (I really love the intensity in your voice when you explain something complex – in fact, when I heard this intensity in your voice in the first recording of yours when I was sampling the course, I decided to join and I just love that change in tone – not sure how many people notice it, but I notice it every time)”. (Sirajuddeeen Shamsuddeen)

Early in Year 2: You’ll have half of your classes taught to you in Arabic. You’ll be asking your own questions in clear, easy to understand Arabic.

By the End of Year 2: You’ll have not only torn through multiple books in Arabic grammar AND tafsir, you’ll have covered logic, advanced balagha, books on adab, and much more.

I’ve been teaching using this method for 9 years and students who previously struggled with Arabic for years at universities, Madrasas and “Do it yourself courses” are reporting with increasing frequency that they’ve finally found what they were looking for.

Here’s what another student had to say.

“This is my third series of Arabic classes. I’ve previously attended an Islamic school for three years, and I also took a year of Arabic classes in college, and I can honestly say that I’ve learned far more here in three months than I did in my four prior years in Arabic instruction. Not only that, but what I have learned I am also able to understand and recall far better than anything I learned from my other attempts at learning the language.

“This is truly a remarkable system, Mashallah. I was somewhat skeptical that the course would be as good as I had heard, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything that is taught is taught in an amazingly efficient manner, with each issue being brought up multiple times, with each instance increasing the depth of the discussion at a controlled rate, so that by the time a subject is taught in exhaustive detail, the subject will already have been brought up multiple times. It really just flows”. (Farhad Akbari, March 2011)

But the most powerful weapon you will have against falling behind or losing focus is the inspiring, motivational, engaging, and empowering lectures that are based upon the 80/20 Rule SQUARED I spoke to you about earlier. To the best of my knowledge, no other program structures its curriculum in this manner.

From all that you’ve read above, there should be no question about what the Shariah Program will do for your comprehension and ability to appreciate the Qur’an once the program is completed.

After all, it’s worked for thousands of other students. Here are some comments left behind by former students:

“Contrast that with the traditional, time-tested way that developed of teaching arabic to non-arabs as islam spread to non-arab countries. This is what the Shariah Program in toronto uses and I TOTALLY WHOLE-HEARTEDLY (not shouting, just gushing) recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to read arabic in general (for any purpose … Because of that, in one day of class I learned more than I learned in an entire _year_ of harvard al kitaab-style arabic”. (Asma, 2006 Intensive Student)

“The whole course is logically mapped out. It’s so refreshing to be able to know what your start and end point is. You can literally see all the recordings and handouts coming your way; you interact with students in the year above you, and the instructor constantly refers to this road map. Thus, you feel safe on this long journey – you have a guide who clearly knows the way, and many supportive, knowledgeable fellow travellers accompanying. Other courses don’t come close just on this point alone”. (Tushar, 2010 Online Student)

“I don’t know of anything comparable being offered elsewhere in Canada or the US in English. WHAT YOU COVER IN THIS COURSE IS WHAT PEOPLE GO OVERSEAS TO SYRIA, PAKISTAN AND ELSEWHERE FOR. I spent 9 months in Damascus studying Arabic and this course is better organized and more thorough, and you can take it without quitting your job. If this had been offered then I wouldn’t have needed to go (for the Arabic-there are benefits to being in a Muslim country). And once you finish you’ll have a solid foundation to go abroad and study further”. (Waqar, 2003 Local Student)

Also, please read the small sampling of reviews we’ve separated to the right side of this page. Many more can be seen here, here and here.

Before Moving Forward I’d Like You To Ask Yourself Some Questions.

What level of Arabic proficiency do you aspire to?

Are you interested in accessing the Ihya of Imam al-Ghazali, or perhaps the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir?

Do you want to begin enjoying regular daily Qur’an recitation so it’s the most pleasurable thing you do each and every day?

Do you want to be profoundly impacted by every verse, every phrase and every word and do you want those feelings that made even the mushriks in Makka weep uncontrollably?

So now picture yourself having reached these goals. How long do you estimate it will take you to get there if you go at it alone? Please try and arrive at a time period in your mind.

At this stage you’re probably experiencing a glimmer of hope that we can do this when we work together. However, let me tell you from previous experience working with thousands of students just like yourself that if you go at it alone, it will take you double or maybe triple the amount of time that you originally estimated.

But the good news is you don’t have to struggle on your own because I’ll help you get there much faster than even what your original estimate was.

This is the exercise I take all my new students through and based on my 9 years of experience doing this, here’s my promise to you: if you enroll in this program, I’ll get you to your goal in half the time. For many of you it will be in one fourth the time of your original estimate and for a few of you, I’ll get you there in one tenth the time of your original estimate.

Yes. You heard me correctly. I can do this. I can make it happen. So, what is one tenth of the original time you put down, or a quarter, or one half? Now contrast that to the other number, the one which is at least 2 to 3 times longer than your original number and stretches far into the future.

So as you can see, I’m doing everything in my power to make this as easy as it can be for you so you can be certain about it. I’ve shared with you the impact my processes have had on thousands of students that were right where you are right now. I’ve shown you the phenomenal results experienced by my students. Here’s another case study you may be able to resonate with. He’s talking about some of his struggles prior to joining our program:

“Being a student required me at times to do a lot of self-study and I studied many Arabic language books on grammar, nominal sentences, verbal nouns, etc., but I must say that nothing brought that understanding of grammar together for me more than this Shariah Program. Most Arabic books on grammar focus on only one aspect of grammar at a time without making the very important connections to the ‘bigger picture’. In other words, it’s very easy to get lost because you can’t see the forest for the trees.

“The Shariah Program’s method gives the big picture right away taking you into advanced topics immediately, thereby making it easy for you to the make the connections later on. This method of teaching is indeed a unique and a powerful way of going from the complex to the simple, which on the surface seems out of order, but Mufti Yusuf Mullan’s method of arranging the materials makes it easy to understand and grasp.” (Rashad, October 2011 student)

Life-Time Access To Over 50 Hours of My Best Training

The details above I felt were important. Much more could be said and let me assure you that A LOT more has been left unsaid than said. You’re already one of my subscribers so you already know that I offer an Unconditional 90-day Money Back Guarantee which means that for any reason at all or even no reason, if you feel this program is not suited to you, all you have to do is send me one email and you’re entire tuition will be refunded back promptly. 90 days is an awful long time. You can watch through all 50 hours of material TWICE and if you feel the value wasn’t better than we promised, still get all of your money back.

Have you heard what other students are saying?

“I am a father of 9, so time is a luxury that I don’t always have. I have tried for several years to learn the Arabic language and this course has allowed me to achieve more in the past 15 months then I have in all my previous years collectively”. (Kyree Spain)

“This course, for me, was the first and only opportunity for a sister to really excel in the Arabic langauge. What I can get and have gained from this course I don’t think any sister in the world can get it elsewhere and I am sure of it.” (Safiya Bint Ahmed)

“I have been studying Arabic for a decade but seen nothing like it. There is no replacement for this in our English world. All the books written on teaching Arabic fall below par to the standard set by Shaykh Mufti Yusuf Mullan”. (Yasin Shaikh)

“I feel the spiritual benefit of it already…. (I am 63)… All these years I have studied, I thought I was just a poor learner, but I can see that what I was taught and the manner of how I was taught was inferior”. (Yousef – older student with vision and hearing limitations)

“I ought to know as I’m a university lecturer myself who also happens to teach what some take to be a difficult subject, viz. molecular biology, and moreover knows what makes a really good course and what it takes to be not just good but great teachers!” (A.M.A. Imam – PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology)

“The value for money honestly can’t be beaten. All in all simply the best online Arabic program that I know of. The students certainly believe so. Just ask us on the forum”. (alex)

“No offense to anyone who may have also done other online courses but if anyone asks me about learning Arabic I have to tell them that this course is the way to go. This is a claim I am prepared to vigorously defend too”. (Ahmad Farrall)

“Within first few weeks I realised the structure of this course meant that it was adding to everything I had been exposed to and forming a much clearer map of the language. The course has never felt boring despite my previous exposure and the students are always being stretched and steadily taken to the next level”. (Faisal Khan)

“what I covered with the Buffalo curriculum (going 5 times a week for 4 hours each day) in one year, this course covered in 3 months (being a weekend course)! Subhan’Allah” (Amina Tirmizi)

“So what makes this course great you ask. Is it the web tools, is it the powerpoint slides, is it paltalk. No! What makes this course great is the teacher. His name is Yusuf Mullan he is committed and his teaching experience has given him the ability to introduce new material at the right time so that you are never overwhelmed. He is a gift from Allah(swt) to the people and if you get a chance to study under him then my advice is don’t hesitate”. (Zarar Ismail)

“I heard about Shariah Program a few years ago and because I was doing another Arabic course, I did not start with Sharia Program. I am really glad and all praise is due to Allah that I did not put it off any longer, because what I have realized, since joining is that Sharia Program taught in 13 weeks what took 3 years+ in the other course”. (Farida)

“Last week, I heard a Khutbah after Fajr in which I understood almost everything I have heard. It was such an ecstatic moment for me in my Arabic learning…. to tell you all the truth, I was probably one of the worst students in the first 6 months… I resolved to myself that I would not only catch up but also try to be one of the best students in my class…. my family, friends and colleagues say that I am a person who is hard-to-please. Here in TSP, my experience has just been the opposite. I am pleased with the course from Day 1 till now”. (Siraj from Geneva)

The 10-Pay offer has now expired. I’m sorry you missed it. The early-bird registration itself is on until November 15 so tuition has not yet gone up. It’s still “better than half-off”. Thus I would urge you to click the link below and read the entire course description page, the cost section, the bonuses section and the guarantee. If it makes sense to you, please proceed with signup. 10-Pay is no longer an option:
