• I barely know the Arabic alphabet. Should I sign up for this 2-Year Online Course, or do recommend something else first?
  Our 2-Year program is much more appreciated by those that have made multiple attempts at learning the language. Furthermore, we do not spend any time talking about the very basics, nor do we teach Tajweed in the 2-Year program. If you have taken no formal Arabic courses in the past, do not know the Arabic alphabet well, or just barely know the alphabet, we do not recommend you consider this course. Instead please head over to the Premium Alphabet Course page to learn more about our new offering which will give you everything you need to realize your dream of mastering the Arabic language. It’s a new course that comes highly recommended.
• What are the timings for the live tutorials beginning in March?
  Prerecorded lectures can be accessed immediately upon registration.Live weekly tutorials will be scheduled as follows:

  There will be two, 1-hour tutorial sessions each week. Timings are in Eastern Standard Time.

• Will there be any breaks for the live sessions throughout the year?
  We follow a 4-week on, 1-week off schedule in all of the live classes. Additionally, there is a 2 week break during Hajj and 5 weeks off during the month of Ramadan. From the 52 weeks in a year, students can expect classes to be held on approximately 36 of them. One of the major benefits in having these breaks is to allow you to catchup on material, consolidate important points, and prepare properly. The course does move fast.
• Will the course materials be shipped to me, or will I have to acquire them on my own?
  Upon registration, you will have the option of ordering Mail-out packages directly from us. Alternatively, you may purchase the books from local bookstores or online from other vendors. As a final option, high quality scans of all pertinent books will be provided. The books you will receive in your Mail-out package from Shariah Program are listed below:1.   Group Study Sessions

  Our virtual class is no different from an actual class as it allows students to receive the material and communicate their questions in real-time. We strongly believe in providing our students a real classroom environment by fully utilizing the virtual capabilities available to us. Our students can make use of our secure classroom to conduct their own group study sessions where they can collaborate to practice and discuss the course material among themselves.

• What are the system requirements?

• Will PalTalk work properly with a Mac?
  
  PalTalk has a browser based version which doesn’t involve any software. This can be used by Mac users and works just as well.
  
• Is Paltalk completely free to use?
  The basic PalTalk service (all that is required for our purposes) is free for users residing in North America and most Western countries, as they sell advertising directed at users, allowing them to keep the service free. In turn, since we have paid a fee to secure the password protected room, this advertising then disappears. Hence, there is no need for the majority of our students to upgrade their accounts.However, since they are unable to sell advertising directed at users based in Middle Eastern and most Asian countries, they require such users to pay for the service themselves by upgrading their accounts to a “blue nick” which is the next level up. Otherwise, they will not be able to access any of the rooms. The cost for this, however, is minimal: it does not exceed $40 for an entire year. • Do you offer any family discount?
  Yes. You can invite a second family member into the course whereby both of you will receive a further $350 off your second semester tuition costs for the premium version of the program. This is in addition to the numerous incentives listed above. (Total additional savings $700!). Essentially each member will pay $947 instead of the normal $797 + $500. This covers the entire 1st year of the program, live classes included. It also entitles each of you the free books and access to the Premium Alphabet Course at no extra charge.
  
• Will the costs associated to the program always remain this low?
  No. As the program continues to improve in content delivery and features, we will be raising the costs. We reserve the right to do this at any time without notice. Current students will be given advance notice and an opportunity to prepay at current rates.
  
• Can I pay in installments?
  The payment terms are as follows: per semester for the regular course (6 months prepayment required), and per year in the case of the self-paced option. • I do not have a Paypal account. How do I submit payment?

• I live in a country for which Paypal does not act as a credit card processor. Do you have any alternate method?

• Once I've submitted payment, how long will it take before I receive access to the material?

• Will I be automatically re-billed at the end of the first semester?
